The perfect weekend #Brunching at @finn.and.bear (again) 😍 We went for the Brioche French Toast with blueberries, maple syrup & bacon as well as Sunshine on Leith with cajun sweet potato, thyme & paprika roasted tomatoes, grilled courgette, smashed avocado, 2 free range poached eggs & poblano chilli. Top tip: go half and half with your mate so you basically get a main course and dessert 🙌 #HisandHersBrunch #LadieswhoBrunch

So last night we finally made it to @83hanoverstreet (shocking, I know) but suffice to say it did not disappoint. There was so much we wanted to try on this tapas-style Menu, featuring a range of delicious Chilean inspired dishes... 🌶 No starters/mains here but rather small bites and larger plates from which we ordered: 〰️Pork Belly Chicharrones, Roquito Pepper Jam 〰️Scorched Padron, Grated Padano 〰️Halloumi Fries, Corriander Lime Mayonnaise, 〰️Braised Lamb Croquettes, Lima Bean, 〰️Beef Short Rib, Purple Causa Potatoes, Ensalada 〰️Tres Leches Donuts There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy, but the Pork Belly was rendered perfectly and ~so~ damn good. The peppers were also extremely moreish and delish. We struggled to leave room for dessert so shared the 3 donuts, which were lovely and fluffy in the inside and came with a caramel like sauce 🤤

Weekend lunching done right @scotts_southqueensferry 🍳 We went for the Bang Bang Chicken with a creamy sriracha sauce & peanuts, and the Chicken Liver Pate for starters followed by the Steak Baguette and Croque Madame 🐄 We also couldn’t resist a side of Truffle & Parmesan Fries, which went down a treat 🍟 If you haven’t been to Scott’s yet it’s an absolute must, the food was really nice and had a gastropub feel but the service was perfect and such beautiful surroundings too 👏✨ #HisandHersBrunch

So this week we ventured down to see our pals at @finn.and.bear and had to try out their new autumn/winter menu! 🐻🍂🍁 . It’s packed full of flavoursome, hearty dishes perfect for this ‘dreich’ weather. 🕯 . We tried the confit duck & pheasant rillette to start, complete with pickled sour cherries and spiced apricot jam 🦆 . His: Shank Pie ft. slow braised lamb shank, baby onions, East Lothian roots in a hot water pastry, with crushed carrots and rich lamb sauce 🥧 Hers: Toad in Hole ft venison sausages, lardons, braised celery, Yorkshire batter, caramelised onions, gamey ale gravy 🐸 Sadly they were sold out of the pink lady and pecan tart tatin so we opted for this instead: dark matter sticky toffee pudding 🌚 which was wonderfully boozy and rich as it should be 👏 It goes without saying all the good was completely delicious and service lovely as always. We can’t wait to try the other dishes on the menu, and with 30% off your food bill in October we’ll struggle to stay away!✌️#HisandHers

Our motto in life: be all in... or get all out 🥓🥞 I was extremely spoilt by this breakfast of champions at @roseleafbarcafe last weekend— this was accompanied by a BOTTLE of maple syrup, so no measly ramekin sized portions here folks 🙏 It’s safe to say, I left happy, full, and in desperate need of new jeans... 🐖 #weddingdietfail 🤰🏻

Yesterday was a good day. First I said ‘yes’ to the dress at @emma_roy_of_edinburgh 👰🏻 & then we celebrated with this amazing brunch platter at @badger.co 🍓🥞🥂 We couldn’t believe it but for £20 per person we shared this: bacon on brioche rolls, granola pots, fresh fruit, pancakes with jam, croissants and churros with chocolate sauce PLUS 4 cocktails/fruit juices each! It went down a treat let me tell you 🥂🐷👯‍♀️ #bridesmaidswhobrunch
